BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Picture the evening, before you land.

For travellers still planning the trip. A quiet look at how an evening in Ubud can feel, and how to bring one to your villa when you are here.

A QUIET EVENING

Rice terrace, candle, first course.

Dusk settles over the terraces. A table is set out in the green, the light goes soft, and the first course arrives without a hurry. Nothing about the evening asks you to be anywhere else.

HOW IT FITS A TRIP

Two or three quiet nights, not every one.

Most weeks in Ubud are a mix. A night out, a night in with someone cooking for you, a morning that starts slowly by the pool. You do not plan it all now. You arrive, you settle, and when a night feels right, a note is enough.

WHEN TO WRITE

A day or two ahead is plenty.

The first night is often the one. You have travelled a long way, the roads are dark, and dinner can come to the villa instead. A short note a day or two before, with your villa and your dates, and the evening is arranged. For a birthday or an anniversary, a little more notice lets us plan it with care.

JOIN THE TABLE
The trip is still months away, and that is fine. A few times a season we write a quiet note on evenings in Ubud. Leave your email if you would like it.
WHEN IT TAKES SHAPE
